Privacy

Last updated October 26, 2026

CalloutIQ has no advertising and no tracking cookies, and you don’t need an account to use the site. The only accounts are for the Path Planner, a private beta for invited athletes and coaches. This page lists everything CalloutIQ collects.

Browsing the site

No cookies, no browser storage. The public site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The only cookies are the Path Planner’s sign-in cookies, set only when you sign in to it (see below).

Visit counts. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors — things like the page visited, the referring site, browser type and country.

Hosting. CalloutIQ is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and block abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Reporting an error

When you submit the report form, CalloutIQ stores:

  • your message, the category you picked, and the page you filed it from;
  • your email address, only if you choose to give one — used only to follow up on that report;
  • your browser’s user-agent string and a one-way hash of your IP address (never the IP itself), used only to spot spam and repeat abuse.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots, and each report is emailed to CalloutIQ through our email provider, based in the United States. Reports are kept until they’ve been addressed.

The Path Planner

The Path Planner is a private, signed-in tool for invited athletes and coaches. Nothing in it appears on the public site, in the API or exports, or in search results. It stores:

  • Your account: your email address, your name as you’ll see it in the planner, whether you’re an athlete or a coach, when you were invited and last signed in, and, if you’re an athlete whose identity we’ve confirmed, which public profile is yours and a note of how we confirmed it.
  • Signing in: sign-in links are emailed to you through our email provider. The planner stores only a one-way hash of each link and of each signed-in session, never the link or session itself, plus each session’s browser user-agent and when it was last used. The sign-in form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots.
  • Cookies: one sign-in cookie, sent only to planner pages, lasting 30 days or until you sign out. A second cookie is used only by the person who runs CalloutIQ, to test the planner with fake accounts.
  • Profile claims: if you claim an athlete profile, your name, email, what you wrote to help us confirm it’s you, and a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to spot abuse.
  • Your season: the shows and divisions you add, and whether you want deadline reminder emails. If you do, reminders go through our email provider, and the planner records which ones were sent so none is sent twice.
  • Travel details, only with your separate permission: your nationalities, the countries that issued your passports (never a passport number), your visa status and type, where you plan to interview, and the airport you’d fly from, if you give one. You give or withdraw that permission on My travel, and withdrawing it deletes the details at once.
  • Coach access: which coaches you’ve let see your details, and when you granted or revoked it. A coach sees your details only while your grant is live.
  • Your agreements: which version of the Planner Terms you accepted, whether you gave travel-data permission (and coaches, the confidentiality pledge), a one-way fingerprint of the exact text you agreed to, your browser user-agent, and when.
  • Profile edits: if you change your own social links or native-script name, a record of the change, which is also emailed to CalloutIQ.

Who can see it: you, the coaches you grant, and the person who runs CalloutIQ, who uses it only to operate the planner. It’s kept while your account is active.

Deleting it: you can delete your account and everything above yourself, from My profile in the planner, or by emailing contact@calloutiq.com. Your competition results are public record and stay on your public profile. A verified athlete can also remove their social links at the same time; CalloutIQ then keeps a note that they opted out, so that those links aren’t added back later unless the athlete adds them again themselves. Error reports you filed stay, without your email address.

Athletes

CalloutIQ publishes competition records — results, placings, points and scores — which are public facts reported by the sanctioning bodies and the press. It doesn’t publish personal information about living athletes. If you’re an athlete and something on your profile is wrong, or a linked social account isn’t yours, report it or email contact@calloutiq.com and it will be corrected.

What CalloutIQ doesn’t do

Sell data, show ads, build profiles of visitors, or share report details or planner data with anyone beyond the service providers named above.

Where your data is

CalloutIQ is operated from the United States. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, and the database — including stored reports — is with our database host; both are in the United States. Path Planner data is stored the same way. If you use the site from outside the US, the information described above is processed and stored in the US.

Your requests

To ask what’s held about you, or to have a report you sent or your Path Planner account deleted, email contact@calloutiq.com.
